AT&T Performing Arts Center Announces Application Date Move for The Elevator Project
(DALLAS) – The AT&T Performing Arts Center is moving the application period for the new 2025/2026 Season of The Elevator Project to this fall, with the application period beginning next month. The window will open Monday, October 7, 2024 and remain open five weeks through Monday, November 11, 2024. Instead of mid-summer announcements, the new season will now be announced in early 2025.
“We have heard from our participating artists and organizations that a shift like this will better align with their programming and season announcement dates in the spring,” said Hector Garcia, Director of Strategic Services and producer of Elevator Project. “The earlier review, selection and announcement process will give these groups additional time develop, fundraise for, produce and market innovative and high-quality programs.”
Established in 2014, Elevator Project enables small, emerging and historically marginalized artists and arts organizations to curate and produce works that are presented on the Center’s stages in the Dallas Arts District. The Center helps provide a range of resources free or at a subsidized rate, including performance space, ticketing, technical supervision, marketing and more. The Elevator Project is made possible through the support and partnership of the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture, The Eugene McDermott Foundation, The Dallas Foundation and the Texas Commission on the Arts.
