About Francene Rouelle:

Rouelle is a Filipina American Pop/Singer-Songwriter whose work blends confessional pop songwriting with emotionally layered production. Based in Austin and signed to mHart, Texas’ first and only Asian American music label, Francene is known for her expressive vocal and strong visual identity, growing an audience through projects that explore heartbreak, healing, and personal growth. Following 2025, which saw the release of her debut album Off the Carousel, as well as a string of high-profile performances—notably securing a support slot for Tate McRae’s Miss Possessive Tour—Francene is currently building towards her upcoming album set for September 2026, exploring her takes on transformation, empowerment, and emotional agency.

AAPI Festival is in collaboration with the Dallas Police Department’s Office of Community Affairs. Special thanks to our partners the Dallas Korean Cultural Foundation, St. Sarkis DFW, India Association of North Texas, Dialogue Institute Dallas, Thai Women’s Association of North Texas, Crow Museum of Asian Art, The University of Texas at Dallas and Perot Museum of Nature and Science.
