TEXAS BALLET THEATER ANNOUNCES NEW SEASON

…and it’s en pointe.

Texas Ballet Theater (one of the AT&T Performing Arts Center’s five stellar resident companies) announced its upcoming 2017/2018 season this morning and honestly it has our entire staff doing pirouettes around the office. We’re talking classics like Beauty and the Beast, Swan Lake and, of course, The Nutcracker; world premieres like Henry VIII; and a special tease of 2019 which is PINOCCHIO!

Once again, TBT has raised the barre. And we’re extra excited because three of the shows will be performed here in the Winspear Opera House!

Beauty and the Beast
September 7-10, 2017: Winspear Opera House, accompanied by The Dallas Opera Orchestra
September 29-October 1, 2017: Bass Performance Hall, accompanied by The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra

The Nutcracker
November 24-26 and December 1-3, 2017: Winspear Opera House
December 8-10, 14, 16-17, 20-24, 2017: Bass Performance Hall

The Nutty Nutcracker
December 15, 2017 at Bass Performance Hall

Henry VIII (world premiere!) and Seven Sonatas, accompanied by The Cliburn
March 2-4, 2018 at Bass Performance Hall

Mozart Requiem and Martinů Pieces (world premiere!), accompanied by The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra
March 29-31, 2018 at Bass Performance Hall

Swan Lake
May 25-27, 2018: Bass Performance Hall, accompanied by The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra
June 1-3, 2018: Winspear Opera House, accompanied by The Dallas Opera Orchestra

2018/2019 Season: Pinocchio, a U.S. premiere and co-production with The National Ballet of Canada!
