Unlock the Secrets of the Center

A complimentary, architecture-focused tour of two iconic buildings within the AT&T Performing Arts Center campus located in the Dallas Arts District:

  • Margot & Bill Winspear Opera House by Norman Foster
  • Dee & Charles Wyly Theatre by Rem Koolhaas and Joshua Ramus

Subject to production schedules, students will gain rare behind-the-scenes access to areas typically off-limits to the public. Tours can also include the Annette Strauss Square, our outdoor performance space, and the Elaine D. and Charles A. Sammons Park, designed by Michel Desvigne, internationally recognized French landscape architect.

This is a unique opportunity to experience first-hand how ambitious ideas become inspiring built environments. Whether your students are sketching their first concepts or developing full-scale projects, this tour offers insight they won’t find in a textbook.

Architectural Study Guides developed by the AT&T Performing Arts Center Docent Team for each building will be made available to the group leader for more in-depth study and for distribution to the students as appropriate.

We look forward to welcoming your students into spaces where creativity comes to life.
