Pilobolus has always been a rebel in the dance world. A rule breaker, an innovator, a perfect fit for TITAS.
It all started with three college students: Moses Pendleton, an English literature lover and cross-country skier; Jonathan Wolken, a philosophy and science scholar who also fenced; and Steve Johnson, a pre-med student and pole vaulter. They created a dance they called Pilobolus, and from that small beginning grew a legacy of movement, imagination, and a little bit of magic.
